About Me

To be the difference that makes the difference through enabling positive change in the lives of others.

Kali - Time to Change

"Being the difference that makes the difference to people’s lives; enabling positive change."

My passion for learning about change work was in 2017 when I was recovering from a long-term episode of anxiety and depression brought on by a very challenging job. I had weeks of CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and had to wait weeks to access this through the NHS. Whilst it helped it just seemed that my recovery was taking a long time. Towards the end of this recovery phase a friend of mine suggested that I should do a foundation diploma in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Practice). I did and have never looked back.

This spurred me on I wanted to find out more it blew my mind in a really positive way. I went on to complete the practitioner’s course in 2019 and now in June 2022 have just qualified as a Master Practitioner of NLP.

Through out my study and in particular over the last two years life continued to throw some challenges my way including a relationship break up and many family bereavements including my son’s father and shortly after my own Dad. During this time, I continued to work as a Head Teacher of a SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) secondary school. A job held dear to my heart and for which I loved.

In between the practitioner and the master practitioner’s courses I also trained as an Integrated Eye Movement Therapist. (IEMT) I invested all of my money in training myself in techniques that I knew would help people directly with any barriers they had in life and I used these techniques daily with students, colleagues and families.

In 2022 I decided to embark on a new career. I wanted my passion to be my mission and to reach out to as many as I could to help, support and serve them through goal setting, life challenges and difficult times. I opened my own company and took the leap of faith.

Kali - Time to Change

I enjoy creating training packages for a range of organisations on Neuro Diversity, Identity, Well Being, Mental Health conditions like anxiety and depression, self harm and bereavement. To name a few.

I do direct one to one change work with young people and adults who have barriers in their lives which are stopping them to become the best version of themselves. Some include eating disorders, early childhood trauma, self-harm and addiction.

I have a range of experience either lived or through supporting others with anxiety, depression, self-confidence, work related stress, bereavement, redundancy, women’s health, relationship and family issues and life challenges.
